In 2010, one of the founding members of A Helping Rock, Eddy Reyes established a transitional housing program in the area of Zephyrhills in order to assist the homeless community. The program was made possible via the financial support of A Helping Rock Thrift store located in Dade City Florida. This included many other programs such as Children's Fun Day, Restoring the Value of Our Seniors, and Cleaning Up the Streets of Dade City, and Helping Rock Food Pantry. It later went on to establish new programs like Partners in Hope where disaster victims, homeless individuals, and families in need could obtain vouchers for free clothing and household items.
